Tresa river
Also the Tresa river, tributary of the Lake Maggiore, is suitable for sport fishing.
In addition to the usual species living in the Margorabbia stream, which is its tributary, there are other kinds of fish, such as Bass (Perca fluviatilis),
Zander (Sander lucioperca) and Eel.
One of the best areas for fishing is its mouth, situated opposite the “Boschetto Park”. There are here other types of fish, such as White Fish ( Coregonus lavaretus) and Black Bass.
